Default Angel Eyes / Halo head lights

Just wanted to see who has these and how much work is required to get this type of headlight?

I currently have the factory HID.

Depends on whether or not you know what you're doing. After doing it for the millionth time I can probably take off bumper, bake both headlight, install halo, rebake headlight, and reinstall everything in about 3 hours. If you want to paint your headlight add another 1 hr. It's not that hard to do, there are a ton of DIY on here on how to install halos and paint your headlight.

If you do try to do it, make sure you take your time and make sure the headlight are properly resealed, its a PITA to find out you didn't seal it properly and now there's moisture in your headlight.

As for price you can get the name brand for $200 ish or the ebay one for $40-$100. I used the ebay one and it lasted for a year or so till I got into an accident and my headlight was busted. So they will last at least a year lol

I agree, as do many members on CL here. It looks ricey, and cheap imo. But at the end of the day it is your car, your money. If you think it looks good then go for it. As the saying goes, to each his own. There has been about 2-3 members that posted threads about getting this done lately. JLC lighting a vendor here does the work. Look them up in the vendors market place if you want to pay someone to do this mod for you.

hey papaya, I am looking to black out my headlight housing, but with no luck in finding any shops here in miami. Would you point me in the right direction as far as a DIY thread?

Any advice I should know going into this? I would appreciate any help.
I hear some people say the nissan sealant works great.

Do it ..... and while you are out in the garage convert your doors to Lambo doors. BMW invented this concept and I see no need to ape them...but if it blows wind up your dress go ahead.

like other CL members said I was considering to do it for my IS350 but I'm not sure if it will look rice or not, I'm gettin a retrofit done, was going to put S2K projectors, but dont got $1400 for that setup -_- lol. So I'm going with the mini projectors with TSX-R lenses that makes the cutoff super sharp and beats our OEM ones by a longshot! Anyone got any experience on how long they last because if one blows out that will suck !!!
