Are they both sports edition? And if they are why doesn't it say sport edition on the one from the 2nd link.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.

They're both the same, same options. Aside from color as stated above they are the same car with same packages. You can tell from the wheels and interior.

Thank you. Why does the white one says Sport Edition under Lexus and the other one does not?

just the way they use the word " Sport", no difference though. I'd get the black since you get the dark interior.

The only thing that I can come up with it that they consider the IS a Sport Sedan where the ES or LS is a Luxury Sedan. Each of these two cars are not F-Sport of any kind and they do not have the optional Sport Package from the factory. I can tell this by the wheels that are not the sport wheels and the ride height is far to high to have the sport suspension. I have the sport package on mine and I almost do not have to lower the car, especially when I have my 19" Volks on.

you could also tell by the fact they're 250s and 09s, the sport package stopped being offered on the 250 in 07 or 08.

The second one looks to be a base model with just the premium pkg added... the first one you don't have any interior shots showing the console or front doors so you can't tell if it has premium or not (that'd be woodgrain and the heated/vented seats)

Neither has park assist or PCS... it's possible that either has HIDs as a standalone option but you can't tell from just the pictures.

^ if you scroll in the slideshow on the first car there's interior pictures. And judging by that, both of the cars are the same in packages and options.

Both cars are stock...

Better MPG is acquire by various factors, driving style, highway vs. city, weight inside car, tire PSI, etc. You can easily refuel and get 30mpg in a 250.

Of course you can get 30mpg in a IS350. Whether or not you will want to with the extra power is a different story

i have a 2010 starfire on ecru. i would highly advise against buying a car with the ecru interior, especially if you like to drive with the windows down.

i am about 13 months into my lease, and its a constant battle to clean the seats and headliner...especially the inside B-pillars and seat belts - they dirty instantly. this could also be that i drive in Miami weather with the windows down any day that it isnt raining. i need to wipe down/lexol the seats and scrub the headliner twice a month. i accepted the fact of the constant upkeep since it is a lease, but the nearly white interior will probably be my main reason for not buying the car off the lease.

food for thought. although having a "white on white" combo gives you bragging rights. compliments are usually easy to come by.

I have the ecru interior and I don't have much problems keeping it clean. I've had my car for 2 years now. You can use simple green to clean your seatbelts, soaking them for 30mins then scrubbing they come out like new
