Default Caliper paint job

Hi all,

I did a search, but couldn't find much . . or maybe I just suck at seraching ..

I'm now interested in getting my calipers painted. Everyone recommended Tommy at musicbox, so I think I am going to go there. However, I'm not sure if the paint he uses can withstand driving heat?

Also, I see lots of people have the "Lexus logo Lexus" decal, are there different ones out there? Also, where can I get one?

Thanks !

Semi-thread jack

The real question would be......WHAT COLOR?

Black and Red is always popular. Any other suggestions?

This is a very easy mod that you can do yourself. If you can jack up a car and take the wheel off you can do this modification.

Im quoting straight from the dupli-color website here:

Dupli-Color® Caliper Paint is a durable, protective coating resistant to chipping, brake dust, and automotive chemicals. Formulated with Ceramic resins, this high gloss coating resists temperatures up to 500°F.
I think you will be fine

Thanks for your reply !!!

Seems like majority people used the"Lexus logo" decal, has anyone tried the "F-Sport" decal from this website? Another member posted this:

http://www.bombgrafx.com

I think if it has good reviews I want to go with this one !!!

What color are you going to paint the calipers? Are the SF:F gunmetal color?
