Default Insurance rate for IS250 vs IS350

Some of you might not believe me but where I live the quote shocked me. I'm in the process of looking for an ISx250. So today I decided to get a quote for the ISx50s. My State Farm insurance agent quoted me $95/month for the IS350 and $100/month for the IS250. In my case, I might as well go for the IS350. I was thinking the IS250 was going to be cheaper but it isn't where I live. I guess that's even better for me.

Thats interesting. In most cases if you don't need awd or can't afford a 2011-2012 awd 350 its a no brainer on which one to pick.

Cause it's the same car. When I went from 250 to 350 my insurance stayed the same. My agent just said so you just traded in for the same car different color.

Mine is $140 a mth.

Of course, that's because of an accident last year. I'll have to deal with the high rates for a couple more years.

I have Geico and pay in 6 month blocks via an automatic payment and have them for my condo insurance as well. After all the discounts my premium per month works out to be $73.33 for my is 250 awd.

My record is pretty good with no ticket or accident at all. Don't know if a fix it ticket of $10 have raise my insurance but I did get a fix it ticket for my exhaust a few years back. If you don't count the fix it ticket, then I have never receive any ticket at all but if you count a ticket is a ticket then that's my only one.

If someone know this affect your insurance rate, please let me know. As I don't know whether it affected me when I had that fix it ticket.

I got quoted about $35 a month more for the 350. It didn't seem too bad, I just couldn't find one in the color/options I wanted

Well, after I got rid of my other vehicle and lost my multi-car discount I'm now only paying $63/mo. No tickets, clear driving record, good credit. 2006 IS350 insured through Nationwide.

Odd a 250 would be the same cost as a 350 due to the more horsepower and replacement value.

My insurance is $144 a month for my 350. Not fair it's probably high cause I'm young. Wish I could have been quoted 95 dollars. hahaha
