driving slow and avoiding speedbumps and uneven roads should do it

IMO having a lowered car, even if you like it, doesn't seem like its worth all that hassle

You can use a heatgun to melt the liner and push it back, giving you more clearance. I assume you're not rubbing on the bumper tab as you did not mention it. If you eventually do, you can bend the tab back and relocate the bolt.

Yes, i do all of that. Im very careful. Some driveways are just impossible, no matter how slow i go. NY roads in general are a pain.

Thats an interesting idea. I'll be sure to mention this to my mechanic. Ill ask him to manipulate the piece with a heat gun before he decides he needs to replace the part. Thanks
