Default Opinion on wheels

My Christmas present was a cheap set of wheels that would complement my car. My father did not allow me to get bigger than the stock 18 inch wheels. I decided to go with black Tsw Nurburgrings.

I was wondering what your guys' opinion is on 18 inch wheels. I do not want the actual tire to overtake the rim and make it look small and tacky. Is it impossible to have 18 inch wheels with a non-lowered car that doesn't fit that description?

Background info on car: 2007 250, tungsten, blacked out grill and emblems (sorry don't have pic of car handy)

without lowering you car, getting more aggressive sizing looks out of place. If you plan to keep it at the same height, I'd suggest getting sizes close to stock.

I am looking at the same. Did you go with these? Being as light as they are, I'm guessing these might shave a little time off in the quarter mile...

Pics?

I'd dont think they are bad looking rims, however I'm not a big fan of black rims but the gunmental with the mirrored face look good. All in all, its your car and if you don't have the option of lowering or going with bigger rims the 18s should look fine at stock height. If you like em' get em'! Oh and post a pic when you do

another 2is owner has TSW Nurburgrings:

a search of his posts should pull up a pic of his 2is on bronze Nurburgrings.
