I will be placing an order for TSW Nurburgrings Bronze 18". http://www.wheelsnext.com/images/whe...teBronze_2.jpg

The stock RWD IS250 tires are 225/40F, 255/40R

Here are the sizes for the TSWs:

18x7.5 - 114.3 bolt - Offset: 45
18x8.0 - 114.3 bolt - Offset: 35 and 20
18x8.5 - 114.3 bolt - Offset: 45 and 20
18x9 - 114.3 bolt - Offset: 63 and 32
18x9.5 - 114.3 bolt - Offset: 40

What should I order? I am dropped on tein s springs, and would like to avoid any fender modding. Would like to go moderately staggered, as long as the rear tires will not get warped, and could be put back on the stock rims without being suspect. the stock bridgestones have a very defined ridegline along the edge, so I am not positive if these could be stretched for wider wheels.

Honestly, i would wait a bit and learn more about rim sizes and offsets BEFORE you buy. I myself see nothing in size and offset that i would put on my car. You're problem is you're limiting yourself to reusing the stock tires. Better to save $1k more for new tires than you can go 19". Lotta nice cars here but don't feel the need to rush to get wheels, save for what you want rather than settle. With winter coming up thats 4months more to stash money away

Below photo shows that "ridegline" discussed above. the front wheels sit in the tires. not sure how this would change things. maybe id have to go with the same width aftermarket wheel up front?

car is a lease, and i have it down in miami. im set on swapping out the stocks with these exact wheels asap, so i get the most use before i return the car, and move back ot nyc...just looking for input on what would be feasibly possible.

guys, i agree, however, my situation is unique...

i am doing a 3 yr stint in miami, then moving back to nyc, probably for a very long time. so i basically have two years left in miami with this leased car, before going back to nyc and using public transpo. so, this is a rush, and i do not need a winter/summer setup down here. i also dont want to spend 6+ months of lease pmts on a wheel and tire setup.

i am simply just looking for technical help on this exact setup.

before answering your question, not sure why you have 235's in the front when you should be running 225's.

staggered OEM 18's run 18x8/8.5 with high offsets (somewhere in the 40's). the listed wheel specs for what you're looking for are 5mm more aggressive. the difference isn't signficantly noticeable, but it's there.

you can run up a 8.5"/9.5" staggered set-up and not stretch/"warp" your tires, though to save your fenders and fender lining you're looking at offsets in the mid-to-high 30's.

for the IS250 small brake setup on a 1.6"F/1"R tein S drop...these seem like my best bet:

Front:
18x8.0 / 35 or 18x8.5 / 45

Rear:
18x8.5 / 45 or 18x9 /32 or 18x9.5 / 40

Think ill see any rubbing with the above selection in bold?

im on the fence with the rear wheel setup. its a tough call between a 9.5 / 40 and a 9 / 32 with a 255 tire.

if a 9.5 / 40, do you think the lip of the wheel would be protruding from a 255/40 tire?
and if a 9.0 / 32 offset, do you think i will have brake clearance issues or rubbing issues?

if you guys think there would be any issues with either, then maybe i go the safer route and do 8.5 / 45s at all 4 corners.

1. yes, though not as obvious as you might think. i'd say probably less than 1/8 of an inch? i'm running 255/40-18 on 18x9.5 wheels, and i don't recall seeing the lip of the wheel poking out past the tires.

2. no, you should not have brake caliper clearance or tire-to-fender clearance issues.
