Check VSC
I assume this is a check VSC message happening because of a check engine light. If your gas cap is loose, just tighten it, and see if the light goes off. (It will probably take a few drive cycles before the car repeats the evaporative emissions leak test, and turns the light off) If it's not the gas cap, either bring it to an Autozone or other car parts store that reads codes for free, or invest in your own code scanner. I've seen them online for as little as $25-$30.
There are a lot of parts that are not covered by the powertrain warranty that would cause the check engine light to go on (e.g., bad oxygen sensor, bad MAF sensor, etc.), so I wouldn't assume it is covered at the dealership if your bumper-to-bumper has expired.

Thanks, Is the OBD2 plug just above the left knee area?
I know the sensors are not necessary covered just wanted to know if it cost me anything to have the dealer scan the code and diagnose it, but I will go to autozone first.

My guess is that unless the diagnosis results in the repair or replacement of an item covered by the powertrain warranty, the dealer will charge you for the diagnosis.
Just one more question, it says check VSC of course, but also with conjunction the anti skid icon is also on, so it's probably not my gas cap after all?
I'll have to wait a day the code read since no one is open.

I see you have a 250. Have you gotten any stuttering at all? It happened to me a couple times where the VSC came on. Once with just a sharp turn. Another with the car shaking. I took it in to the dealer and told them the symptoms. They did the top engine flush. Never did it again.

had the same problem, my gas cap had a leak it was worn out replaced it and the dealer told me it takes 15 starts and about 75 miles on it for it to go away on its own, or you can just clear it and see if it comes back on again
The check engine light went on for me after accidentally starting the car while the air sensor was unplugged. (I had to unplug it to reach the passenger side headlights.)
I fixed the check engine light by resetting the battery. (Used the wrench included with the car to disconnect the negative side of the battery, waited 20 minutes, then reconnected it. You may see one spark when reconnecting — that's fine. The only thing you'll need to do afterward is reset some minor GPS settings like keyboard style, etc. and reset the power windows by going to each window and moving the window all the way down and then all the way up.)
Hope this helps.
