Right tire sizes?
I was speaking to a very reputable shop and they suggested these tire sizes for me does this sound right? These tires are crazy expensive with these sizes my wheel specs are...
FRONT 20 x 8.5... they are suggesting 245/30/20
REAR 20 x 10.. they are suggesting 285/25/20
FRONT 20 x 8.5... they are suggesting 245/30/20
REAR 20 x 10.. they are suggesting 285/25/20
sounds like a very 'a very reputable shop' at making money~ OR their reputable at cars other than a 2IS...
but what projectdna said, without offsets and ride height... and even so those tires are too big... my suggestion is look thru the post pics of your car now thread and decide on the look you want first BEFORE you spend $$$.

DUDE!!!! Don't get those HUGE tires. They'll fit those wheels but I think you'll have major rubbing! I have Megan LP's on 20x9 and 20x10.5 using 225/30/20 and 255/30/20 Habcook Ventus V12. You'll be sorry!

fronts and rear tire sizes are too wide.
go with 225/30-20 + 255/30-20
i question how reputable they are if they can't give you tire sizes that won't cause clearance issues. as such, if the tire shop tries to tell you differently, time to go to another tire shop.

a little bit - the sidewalls won't be upright, but for daily driving those sizes will be safe.
