Default F-sport labor

Hi,

Anyone have a list of what a "FAIR" cost would be for labor on f-sport parts (all parts, but specifically sway bars and springs)? I plan on buying @ sewell but have local dealer install. I know the dealers are rapping us on install, just wanna make sure it's even across the board...

Thanks in Advance

Labor at the stealer ship is usually about $65 an hr. Your springs alone is gonna be about 3-4 hour install already..

My dealership actually charges $120 per hour. Do yourself a favor and let someone else install the springs, it'll save you alot of money. Also the Lexus dealer wont even waranty the service, because you bought the springs from an outside company. I know, cause i asked my dealership a over a year ago. I think a fair price would be anywhere between $250-400. I got my coilovers installed for $150

However I wouldent pay more than $20 to have an intake on our cars installed. It takes no time or skill.

Seriously find yourself a reputable independent. I did that when I got my F-sport exhaust, shocks, springs, and sways at the same time. Cost $400 even for labor and took him 4-hours for everything. What a great deal!!

You can do all that stuff yourself and save loads of cash. If you can't, it's best to bring it to a good private mechanic to do the installs.

The labor rate I think for the dealer I went to was $120-137/hour for other stuff. I did my spring install in 4 hours but it could be 2 hours if I had a lift and more room. The labor cost for the springs will end up being more than the springs themselves. They come with instructions too. My exhaust took 30 minutes. Local guy was selling an HKS Hi-Power for $50 with stock and it took him 30 minutes to take the old off and put the new one. Just two bolts and 3 hangers. Sway bars probably take only an hour to two at most.

You can save a lot doing it yourself but it you want the dealer to do the labor, it might cost you up to $500 just for the sway bars and springs. Local shop, maybe under $300.
