From a Evo to and 250 do you miss the power and the handling?

Wow, nice car! I actually had the same reason why I got my IS250 as well. Welcome to the Lexus Community! Oh yeah and watch out for that mod bug, because it bit me the first week, and I still have those cravings but im running out of money. =(

At the moment, I don't miss the power. I drive a lot on thw fwy during traffic hour and side street. I sold the evo knowing I will never use it at full potential. I do miss the raw feelings at times, but that won't make want to get another one. Evo 9 would be a great track car, but for me ill side with the 250. It gets everything done for me. The handling I am actually surprise how well it is. Barely any body roll on this little beast, steering is good too not too soft or sensitive. I am very happy I made the switch.

Oh no USB? awww . Still nice.

Do you literally put a star emblem on your front plate for real? hahaha j/k!

Maybe one thing to make it less plain looking is to put the F-Sport emblem on the back to fill the void.

This is exactly what allowed me to go ahead and let go of my Corvette. It feels great having 430 stock horses under your foot. Add to that a manual shifter with an upgraded Borla exhaust which is almost literally right behind your seat and it is an awesome sound, especially when downshifting.

But, living in Houston with all the stop n go traffic and spending the majority of your time on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear due to all the traffic and lights, you never get to really let her loose. You really need an automatic tranny around these parts. Especially on the upward parts of the freeway ramps.

They are awesome. That was my 3rd one. With all that power, people can't believe how efficient they are. On normal day-to-day driving, they average about 19.5 mpg. On a trip out to San Antonio earlier this year, it gave me 29 mpg. That's better than what my girl's Accord 4-cylinder gets. LOL

Anywho... new chapter, new days... iS350 F-Sport it is now.

You guys are way too kind here!

By any chance anyone know which window visors to get? I don't want the one that sticks to the side door with 3m tape. I was looking at WeatherTech, but not sure what else people run.
