Fsport question
I got the IS350 F-Sport because it looked nice (even as an "appearance package"), was fast enough, and I could afford it as new. Even though some of the stuff could be added later, it was convenient to have the wheels, spoiler, badging, LED headlights, and front lip pieces already on it.
I've never owned an IS250 or IS350 before. If you already have a IS350 and wanted to trade it for something, it'd be a great chance for you to go from the IS350 to ISF, as opposed to trading in your IS350 for another IS350.
I guess when you think about it, people who could afford a new IS350, whether the IS350 is an F-Sport package or not, could always consider a used ISF.

I would much rather have a brand new car than a used car. I'm super **** and it's hard to find a used car in great shape. I got my IS250 for the gas mileage being better than my AWD RDX and the IS-F would be worse than my RDX.
The F Sport was a no brainer for me. For $2,000 bucks extra. I got the color I wanted, the wheels themselves cover over half the cost of the package. They look great for an OEM wheel. My wife hates leather so the interior was a huge bonus. All black including the headliner!
The aluminum scuff plates, front lip, rear spoiler, grill, steering wheel etc. was all cool as well. You would be spending way more buying that stuff from Sewell.

My reasons for getting a new car was needing a 4-door vehicle that would allow for a baby seat.
Current situation had me with a Corvette (pros = power, efficient, sexy... cons = 2 seater)
... and a Nissan Pathfinder (pros = spacious, aggressive... cons = gas hog)
My new requirements were a sexy and efficient car that would comfortably allow for a baby seat in the back and have some kick under the hood.
My girl just got her a brand new RX350 about 2 months ago. She let me drive it for the first 2 weeks because the "new car small" was driving her nuts (she's pregnant). I said "ok baby. I have my own vehicles to take care of but I will sacrifice and do this for you, ok? I don't want to be doing this but I will drive this brand new Lexus as my daily driver just for you." :-) After driviing it, I was like.... "wow, this car is nice. So, I decided to look at Lexus. :-)
When I got to the dealership, I saw an iS250 SFP F-Sport in the showroom. I was like "wow, that looks hot". I loved the seats and how the F-Sport exhaust looked under that rear. I sat in all 4 seats and I fit pretty decently in all 4, especially in the driver's seat. :-) After kicking it around in my head for a few days, I went back and test drove that iS250 F-Sport. It was kinda slow for me but it LOOKED hot. :-) I then drove a regular iS350 and that had decent kick under the hood.
After kicking it around in my head a couple more days, went back and started talking with the dealership about a SFP F-Sport that was out of state. As of yesterday, that F-Sport is mine. ETA for delivery is next week.
Merry Christmas to me. :-))
