Although I'm not 100% that it's cheaper to get yourself over there, but Work Wheels and Wald (body kit) is centered in Japan. We get those parts through the forum vendors who deal with the shipping and purchasing of them from Japan. Lots of other Lexus aftermarket parts (jdm parts!) are out in Japan. If you like parts on cars you see on the forum, look up the brand and you might see that they are local to you haha.

Work wheels have a 8-12 week wait time (for us stateside at least) due to fabrication and shipping time. Not sure how much of that time you could cut out if you wanted some rims, but I'd give it a shot if you know you'll want some eventually. Im currently on week 1 of waiting for mine

Ahh ok, i gotcha. Im sure most of those companies are based out of mainland Japan whereas, I am stationed in Okinawa, an island south of the mainland. It is mostly military and more laidback (alot like Hawaii) and less mainstream than it is up there. I have only seen three 2nd gen IS's out here so I doubt I would be able to get much where I am at but I will look into it and let yall know if I can find anything...Thanks for the feedback though...
