is your spare and associated tools secured in the trunk?

I read a while ago about trouble ppl were having with the rear center brake light housing being loose. Maybe check that.

I have a noise coming from the rear that I believe I've identified as the rear brakelight housing rattling against the windshield when going over uneven surfaces. I wouldn't call it a "thumping", but that could still be it. I'd also check that everything's secured in your trunk. To test the rattle, you could have someone sit in the backseat and hold down the brakelight housing so it can't rattle, then drive over bumps and see if it still happens.

yea i checked the brake light housing and its not that it does sound like its coming from the trunk but ive pulled everything out including the spare and its still there. The people that have heard it as well describe it as a thump noise or a very low pitched rattle noise.

No it started happening about 6-7 months after I installed the coils. I was thinking maybe it was some bushings that went bad but not sure thats why im posting here see if anyones got any ideas.

Did you put stock suspension back on went you sent the coils out for inspection? And if so, did it still make the noise?

When I took the suspension back they got it back to me by the end of the day so I didnt put the stockies back on, but thats my next step. I checked the brakes and rotors and theyre fine. It seems like ive checked every ******ing bolt and bushing under that car and it all looks ok. Im going to swap out for the stock suspension and see what happens. Thanks for the replies ill keep an update.
