I am newer to the site and thought maybe someone has came across the same issue. My fogs are not turning on and it doesn't seem to be the fuse? is there something else I can check?

Turn off the hi beams.

 

Either that or you have a blown fuse. The dealership had to replace mine at the last service for the same issue, but this was after one was replaced.

 

Not having the right setting, burned out bulbs, melted harnesses, faulty wiring, burnt fuses, etc.


You need to give more detail in order to get some real help.

 

lexus cars cannot turn on the fog light unless you switch on the headlight first plus if you use the bright light it will disable the fogs

 

check fuse/bulbs

turn on headlights + turn off highbeam

 

Im not an idiot, headlights on, no fogs.

Last dealer inspection, fogs failed inspection cause they weren't coming on, checked fuse, it isn't blown. Lexus didn't give me failure reason except not operative.

Any other reasons?

 

probably wiring problem?
