Default gas station

hello members, kind of interesting inquiry here when you go to a gasoline station to fill your tank,do you go to a station who has independent nozzle in each grade or you don't care if you use single nozzle in 3 grades and select what you want to put?

the reason why i open this thread is every time i fill gas on my 350 (premium grade is recommended) on a single nozzle,i noticed a difference in acceleration compare when i used the separate nozzle filling with the premium grade,i usually don't fill my tank full so i can have a lesser weight and better acceleration,so is there any other member here noticed this kind of situation?

I don't care about the nozzle and I've never really noticed what you are saying about the acceleration.

I assume you mean that if the person before you used regular, that you would get the remaining regular that was still in the hose before the premium came out. I really don't see how that could affect performance. It would be such a small amount.

Agreed. The key is to always fill with premium.

All pumps in my area only have one nozzle.

edit: That is incorrect - some have a diesel hose.

Never even thought of this before. I just fill it up with premium and keep driving.

For my Harleys, I will only fill when there are 3 nozzles... With the Lexus, no.

Its all in your head bro...there's gonna be no measureable difference between the two styles of pumps. Diesel and E85 have their own over here...but I don't care where I fill up. And actually I prefer to "mix it up" with the stations I refuel at. I like the fact of giving the fuel system a variety in its diet I guess. Lol!
