We got the white pearl (cant remember the actual name). The vented seats, and memory seats was the biggest reason why we went with the luxury. We came off a car with black leather and in summer weather in southern cali, *** sweat sucks! Comparing side by side with f sport, eveything just like i t was bolt or stick on which could easily be added later if we decide to go that route.

Implying that's the only difference between the two packages.

That is what I was correcting (or perhaps clairfying if you meant something else by your post- but at one 1 line it's hard to tell)

There's at least half a dozen additional features he'd be gaining with the Lux package that are not in the F-sport package.

(and since you lose the vented feature with the F-sport package I still view the F-sport seats as a downgrade too, though you do gain nicer side bolsters, but I suppose this one depends on the climate you live in).
Thought he asked what he would be missing if he got the lux over F sport. Since when does basically and exactly mean the same thing? The exact differences have been spelled out well in this thread as we've all read. What you should have done is jus went ahead and said your peace like you did BUT leaving me and your assumptions out of it.

You thought wrong

Missing or gaining.

So "basically just the seats" is not a valid answer to his question.

Which is what I was correcting, and between my post and the one directly before it, the OP got a complete and correct answer to his question.

Not sure why you're getting upset with me because you misread his question...

Bought 11 Lux. Sold wheels and tires on-line for 1500. bought f-sport wheels and tires for under 3k . Net same price as option (that was hard to find). F-Sport Intake is in, F-Sport Exhaust next. Might do bars - but paying for what I want not seats, shift ****, inserts and stuff I don't want.
I agree with those that say Lux and do upgrades as you want and what you want.

I probably would go with F-Sport.

However, if it were the Canada spec, then F-Sport there has extra features included which is bascially a sub set of the US luxury package (ie. Rain sensor, telescopoic steering wheel, auto-tilt reverse) and a few others things as per Canada spec.
I was looking at some pictures and it looked like CA F Sports got full leather front seats, no ?
