..Lexus got "cheap" when it came to designing the clock? I mean, I Love my IS, but every time I look at the digital clock it reminds me of my Dad's old 1985 Nissan Maxima. Even my 12 year old son mentioned that the clock looks "out of place". I'm just saying...lol

 

06-08 looks the best in white. I have no idea why 09+ went to that sicking green

 

It looks cheap but it seems to blend in since I got no NAV, the display of the clock, two rows, and mirror compass seem to match. I like the clocks in the G35's.

or better yet, does the 06-08 digital clock part fit the 09+?

 

Agreed! The clock in the IS's look like an afterthought compared to the nicer ones in the Infiniti G35's. Speaking of afterthought.. what's with the dinky light in the trunk of the IS's (some obvious cost cutting there as well) ?

 

damn, I cant remember what thread it was in, I think you can swap out the cover of the clock from the 06-08.

 

So correct me if I'm wrong, there is a compass in the mirror right? My 2010 I'm almost positive had it, but I don't think my 2011 does! Wtf!!

Yeah I was the one who did it in my 2011.

Only cars without nav have the compass in the mirror. Perhaps your 2011 has nav, but the 2010 didn't? My 2011 (without nav) has the compass in the mirror.

Nice interior Jeff 06-08 if you have nav you still have a compass on your mirror.
