Hey guys.. Where else other than the dealership?
And any idea how much? I'm located in torrance..
Sorry I could search but on a slow connection so
kinda hard trying to do that lol.
I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to accomplish.
However I do know that you can reset the sensor in the TPMS to use your current Tire Pressure as what it measures off of for the warning light.
To do this you navigate to the TPMS screen using the left and right arrows with the circular button in the middle of the left hand side of the steering wheel. When your are there hold down the middle circle button and it will default the TPMS to reflect your current tire pressure.
Any dealership can do it- most will charge 1/2-1 hour of labor though (so something in the $60-110 range).
Some larger tire store chains can do it now too, you'll have to call around to check your local ones though, and I suspect they'd be cheaper than most dealers.
I was wondering if any of you guys used this diy tool kit for tpms. I guess you can buy this and make your money back by programming others. http://www.tpmsoutlet.com/AT-TPMQUICKSET.aspx
