Default CD's do not come out .....

2006 lexus is250 70,000 miles. i have about 6 months i dont use the cd player . i have the stereo with the navigation unit. the other day i tried taking the cds out, and it would not spit them out. Any suggestion on what i should do ?

when pressing eject button and it doesn't move, slap the side of the unit, where your right knee would be.... it should start to shuffle cds and spit out. if not, im sorry.

If not, it looks like your in the LA area, hit up Tommy @ Music Box in El Monte and see if he can help you get them out. He'd be much cheaper than going to the dealership

he can't. he's mentioned to me before that the 2IS's are somewhat prone to CD jamming and in which case, you'd have to take it to the dealer and hope you're under warranty

Happened to me before. The dealership basically sends out the whole CD unit to Pioneer to fix. Then Pioneer will send you the CD back in the mail.

Dealership must charge an arm & a leg for that

Luckily I am under warranty. Would of probably cost me $1000+.. That is why I am going to be just using AUX when my warranty is out..

I personally hate CD's mainly because A) I don't like burning them B) its not as easy to find songs as it is with an iPod

hey bro, try this..press the eject button and get a spare cd and stick in half way or less..it should able to jump start the stock cd out..ounce you feel the cd coming out..pull out the spare cd out away=) Good luck!! it work for me..i give credit to one our CL Memeber!!
