I put my is 250 in basement for10 months without any engine start. There was no electricity in the battery. I thought it was dead, so i changed a new one from CT. Dash board is flashing now, only light system works. Window, radio AC, electrion lock, trunk and fuel tank cap doesnt work. The engine still cant start. just small sound of zi zi zi when i start engine.
I think it needs to use computer to check the car or reset system.
the car is in basement, so it's really hard to tow away.
Do you think you can grap a few people or buddies who could possibly push it out of the basement to a more suitable location that it could be towed away?
i know gas goes bad over time if you don't use it. Condensation in the tank is a problem in stored vehicles, and it is widely suggested that you fill the tank completely with Premium non-alcohol fuel in order to avoid any empty space where water can accumulate. However, the gasoline can become "gummy" over time, so it is useful to add a gasoline stabilizer, which is available for lawn mowers and other seasonal yard equipment. In some areas, premium gas does not contain ethanol which is corrosive and can release water when stored for long periods. your plugs also can start to rust over time. check them also
You didn't connect the battery backwards and then fix it afterward or something did you? I've seen something similar in a 2IS that was boosted backwards. Ended up requiring a number of new parts after that.

Jeff
I was thinking the same thing, although I would hope Lexus thought about this kind of thing and put fuses or fusible links in place to prevent serious damage (e.g. to the ECU). I have a feeling Jeff Lange could shed some light on this situation...
