My buddy has an intake and exhaust, as did I. First race his RT sucked, second race I got a perfect reaction at .50x and he faulted at .4xx. I purposely did not look at the tree(red yellow green light that starts the race). Instead, once I staged, I looked over at him and waited for him to start so no matter what his RT was, it could not be an excuse. EVERYONE on his forum and mine blamed the murder in the first race on his RT, and that was the ONLY reason I won.

Sorry, I didn't see the intake/exhaust part lol. If it was a quarter mile.. you probably would ran a 13.1-.3

13.3-13.4

Rough estimate.

Be sure you have traction control disabled if you want optimal performance from 0, of course.

Here's an IS350 vs an E39 M5 from a 25 MPH roll -

Notice the IS350 still wins, but not by as much. The huge lead in the first video is almost entirely due to the early lead the IS350 gains through 1st gear (0 to 40).
There is something seriously wrong with that M5...or the driver, maybe its both

I hear the M5's are hard to launch properly, so that might play into it.

Who's whining? Did you even bother to read the entire thread or maybe even just a couple pages? A lot of members, including myself, are acknowledging the 335's performance.

As someone pointed out the price diff: Drop in another $30K into the IS350 and I am sure it will beat the 335

Don't worry guys. It's not a fair fight. I think we should get times for IS 250 vs BMW 320i or IS 300 vs 328i and the IS 350 should be facing BMW's 330i not the 335i.

I believe in all the comparison's above Lexus is faster and more reliable than BMW. Lexus does not have a car to compete with the 335i. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

The regular 335 but not the 335is which has 320 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, with an overboost function that can briefly bump torque up to 370 lb-ft.
Quicker than 306 HP and 277 pounds of torque of the IS350..

Question

So basically a stock IS350 and 335i is dead even with the same driver. They both have identical times 0-60. 5.6 secs and an IS 350 can even add turbo's later to make it even faster.

So as per what stats is a 335i better ?
