So I've been searching for some good reverse lights. I first used some 168 LEDs but they were bluish, dim, and pointed in one direction only. Next, I got chrome bulbs but it gave out almost half the light as the stock ones did. Then I went to SilverStars, they were good but still too stock looking, maybe 200k whiter but that's it. Then I saw these CREE lights everyone was getting but couldn't spend $40 on those JLC CREE bulbs. Luckily, I found some 7W CREE bulbs on eBay for only $27 and gave those a try. I finally found the perfect bulbs! So what do you guys think, I'm comparing the SilverStars to the CREEs. Anyone with the JLC bulbs are welcomed to comment! Crappy iPhone pictures BTW.
I love the look... Actually wanted to know... What do you guys think of the JLC LED's?? I am adding funds to paypal to purchase the whole interior. Just wanted some input... Thx guys! Oh and just ordered the CREE off ebay as well ;-)
I have LED reverse bulbs but I always say....1) I can't EVER see them on. 2) It's not worth spending that much. Maybe if I reversed all the way home they'd work!
Well I just placed my order for these bulbs, but bought them from a different seller. They are a couple bucks cheaper and the led itself says "cree" on it. I remember JLC lighting saying that their leds say the brand name on them, so I figured these are the same bulbs for half the price. The seller also told me that they are 6500k, so they should be a very nice white color.

Nice find but shipping is going to take forever lol. I couldn't wait so I paid another $5 to get it like two weeks faster. Mine never listed the color temp but if I were to estimate, they are somewhere between 4300k to 5000k which is exactly what I wanted. Every single LED light bulb in my car is about 5000k and so are my HIDs and fogs.
The reason why they got new design is because the old one will overheat.
Thats why you see on ebay they dont offer any warranty because they know it will not last long.
so ebay $30 with no warranty VS JLC $40 with warranty. hmm...
On the other hand, even if you really find one that offer the warranty, how much will it cost to ship it back to them oversea? and how long do you have to wait to get it back? you know they not gonna send the replacement via express
but hey! some people just doesnt care as long as they can save the money
Just like the VOLK TE37 VS Varrstoen! they look the same to me

How often you reverse you car and how long you need to reverse you car?
Just my $.02
I have the JLC bulbs in my car and they look just like the ones that you got. I'm not overly happy with mine. The light pattern is too concentrated in one area. It lights up little square areas on both sides of the car backing up. There isn't any light directed straight out of the back. I do really like the color of the light when they are on but that's about it.
