I hit something on the freeway and started hearing dragging. I pulled over to see what I hit and see this.

"What the hell is that?"
Look closer to see this.

"Dang... my car got a lip piercing." Went straight through the lip.
Burned my fingers pulling it out too. The thing was way longer than I expected.

Thought to myself "could've been worse...". Got back on the freeway.

I'm actually glad that thing didn't pierce through my face...haha. Be careful on the road everyone!

 

wow some kind of wire, copper? coulda stripped the plastic off and taken it for recycling

Haha... I wish it was copper. I hear prices shot up on copper.

Come to think about it... I used to have a lip piercing on the same exact spot. I have the same exact piercing scar as my car now... hahaha

State owned trucks drop stupid things like that all the time. This summer I ran over an orange traffic barrel... It took out my right front lip/fog lamp/wheel well liner. It could always be worse!

That sucks.. good thing it didnt do more damage. Just slap a bandaid over the hole and call it a day!

I remember hearing about a piece of rebar just like that coming off a truck a hitting a car behind it. It went straight through the f windshield , pierced the woman through the chest, through the seat, and into the rear floor of the car. She was harpooned/pinned in her seat...dying
