I was thinking of 35 in the rear because I think it looks like too much rubber. If you went 265, or even if you didn't I would go 35 series.

i put my oem is250 wheels on my sc430 and next set im doing 245-40-18 and 265-40-18. I have the ISF set up on my IS250 so next set on those will be 235-35-19 and 265-35-19 the SC has an insane wheel gap even dropped on TTE springs so im hoping the slight increase in side wall will help and also on that care im looking for better comfort than on my 2IS and thus the 40 series instead of the 35 series tires. I might even consider 40 series on the is250 but that will prob throw off the speedo too much and might even rub...im dropped on fsport. any thoughts?

Hey guys, search got me here... Any feedback from those who have rolled on 265/40/18's over the years? Found a local supplier selling track rubber for insanely cheap (NT01's at $109 each) in this size, so couldn't refuse. This will be a square setup on a super light 18x9.5"+38 Enkei RPF1's for track day duty on an IS-F, with a slight drop - perhaps .5" rear and 1" front on BC Racing coilovers. Anyone with a similar setup have and dealt with any rubbing? I'm expecting some front liner interference at full lock, but shouldn't see that condition often. Thanks!

I'm running 265/35/19 on 19x9.5 +35 and I have rubbing, had to roll the rear fenders but still get rubbing here and there on dips. Lowered on BC with 1 finger gap all around.

I recommend 275/30/19 if you can find it (Continental has a great new street tire that compares very well with the "gold standard" Michelin PSS). it's very close to stock diameters at 25.6" and no rubbing despite Megan Racing sending me the wrong "dropped" arms in the rear... I'd basically tracked an entire day at CoTA with the fender looking like it was litteraly resting on the tire, with no evidence of rubbing. That was on 19.9.5 +40's... see my sig.

What part of Texas you live?I thought 275 would be too wide? I don't know if 30 aspect ratio would be enough for wheels to survive Houston roads. Every time I hit a pothole I pray I didn't crack a wheel.

I have been running Michelin Pilot SuperSports in 265/35/18 rear size on my 07 IS350 with stock suspension and stock wheels for the past few years with no rubbing even during track events with extremely hard cornering. I am planning to try 275/35/18 for my next set of rear tires. This rear wheel/tire combo has survived Houston area roads and some track curbing without cracking so far.

I have been running 275/35/18s on 18x10.5s in the rear with a roll. They actually fit pretty nice but the wheels i have the offset isnt right though so they poke a bit. On these wheels next go around i will order 265s, but with the height of 275s I dont rub with only myself in the car or with a single passenger. When i have passengers in the rear, i rub slightly over pretty decent size bumps in the road.

I'm in Austin... Another guy here in ATX who's 2 months new to his '13 IS-F is a fellow track rat and tells me he's running 295/35/18's on super-light RPF-1 wheels in 18x10 +38, and he also gets no rubbing. Not sure if he's lowered though. Original plan was to get same wheel in 18x9.5, but he says they clear his FIGS front UCA's by over a quarter inch. Decisions, decision!!

Not sure if I linked before, but here's the bargain track rubber going on them: https://austin.craigslist.org/wtd/d/...411908345.html
