never driven is350 myself, but i upgraded from e46 m3 to ISF!

IMHO, e46 m3 is more of a raw machine, and ISF is more like a tech art! For e46 M3, modding is a must to match the engine performance of IS350, let alone ISF. But BMW handling is top of my list, even tho i've even driven most of the 997 911s. Owning an ISF for just a couple months, I am more than impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail from Lexus. My previous M3 was definitely a fast and furious machine....but it doesn't offer half the comfort and feel good factor from the ISF.

Depends on how much u use your car, at the most, IS350 can only be compare to 335i. e46 M3 is on a different scale, IS350 can only match or beat e46 M3 on a straight but on a track, it is certainly not at the same level. With all the mods you can have for M3 and all the instant difference you can experience, I even pick M3 over the mighty 911s, cuz you won't spend that much money modding a 911.

Please try searching, we don't need another thread on this:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...et-e46-m3.html (this one was from just a week ago)
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ly-driver.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-or-is350.html

Those should provide all the opinions you need, and if you still have questions you can post on one of those.

Having own both is350 is a great sedan but E46 M3 is just a better feel to drive with it's 6speed transmission and torque.

Bone stock straight line acceleration profiles for the IS350 vs E46 M3 (more importantly, from the same source, which helps to mitigate the influence of potentially confounding variables).
