is the turn signal a yellow bulb that i can switch out with vled ?

 

I hear that it is a p.i.t.a. to change out the turn signals on our car. I know Rashoodz ordered some stealth bulbs, so he may have some more insight on this topic. As far as leds in there, I know that you might need to get a resistor for it because they will flash like crazy without it.

Let me know what happens, because if you figure something out I may do this mod as well.

 

It's a 7440 bulb. You can get LEDs for that size but you'll need two 50W 6OHM resistors that cost from $5 to $10. Now I have an '07 but was painting my headlights today, you'll NEED to remove the whole front bumper to change out the bulbs. It's mounted from the bottom, not from the back where you can reach from the engine bay. It'll take an hour to change both bulbs out. Cheapest way is to get some stealth bulbs for like $15.

 

do stealth bulbs flash yellow or white?

 

Any color you want! Stealth bulbs are silver/chrome in color but can flash any colors such as white/blue/amber/or blue.
