I used to have a rho plate tow hook license mount before my bumper got replaced, and had the attachment lying around and an extra panavise base. Combined the two to get a more secure camera mount that's sturdier than the suction cup.

Vids are in 1080p@30fps or 720p@60fps. I'm going to post a few videos up tonight over the past few days I have been testing methods of reducing wind noise. I've been filming it inside the waterproof case as without covering the microphone, the wind noise drowns out any other audio.

OP - why'd you take the Rho plate mount off? What did you think of the kit when you had it installed? My front bumper is getting replaced and I specifically requested the shop to fill in the front plate holes as I plan on ordering the Rho kit.

 

It held the plate in securely like it wouldn't fall off, but the bolt holding the plate that you mount your license to would get loose over time, making the license rotate. I had to tighten it every few weeks. Reason why I took it off was I got my front bumper replaced and just had them mount it in the center.
