Default New shift boot installed!

I just got a new set of shift boots for my shifter and e-brake. My original one is pretty beat up, and the leather was starting to crease. It'd rattle a bit in 3rd and 5th gear, so I decided it was time to get it replaced.

Installation was very simple. The only tools you need are your hands. Maybe some beer if you really want. Overall took me about 20 minutes to put them on, but I was also taking pictures along the way. Shift boots were ordered from www.RedlineGoods.com. I had a set on my tC years ago, and recently decided to get a set for my IS250. IMO, very good quality; fitment was dead on.

Enjoy the pictures!

those are very nice! The stitching goes well with your center console.

Wow, that's really awesome! Just after production I knew it will look great but the way you chose stitching colours to match your interior is oustanding

Thanks!

Take care

Nice! Seeing red stitching brings back fond memories of my Prelude.

Very nice, also I envy you for having the woodtrim on a 6mt. I purchased all the parts for my car and I'm only missing the cupholder and sorounding cutholder trim and I can't it anywhere.

^^ Sorry my bad
And to answer your question, I ordered the bracket because I'm lazy and didn't want to bother swapping over the old bracket. Brackets came on both shift boot and e-brake boot.
