Sorry to resurrect an old thread (and for an unrelated topic no less) but what is the little secret door you're talking about? If it has to do with an opening inside the center console please please please explain because I've been closing the lid over some wires in order to run them outside the console and I never liked that solution.

You will gain full control of your Android phone through your touch screen nav, all controls will work almost the same way as you control it on the phone itself.

VAIS, I have a question
With this ML+ unit, can I control the music from the steering wheel also (i.e forward, backward, volume etc)? or I can only use the nav touchscreen controls?

Gidi, you can use the steering wheel controls. I don't work for Vais and of course check with them cause my buddy MAY have hacked his ML+ but yea he was able to control volume and move from track to track as well as folder to folder with long press on the next track buttons all from his steering wheel.
