Worse than that. The OP has no credibility or connection with Lexus, all he is doing is pontificating what a 2013 could look like if he was in charge of the redesign based on the current model. Photoshopping is fine, just don't present it as some sort of preview of what Lexus will be coming out with in the 3rd Gen IS as stated in the title.

What are you guys talking about? The title couldn't be anymore clear. I am photoshopping my interpretation of the next gen is.
I do have credibility in the automotive photoshop world. Do you comprehend the amount of time and detail that goes into that? Sorry for openly sharing my work with you guys.
This isn't exactly my day job...why don't you go ahead and take a crack...you could get a free trial on abode. Spend 12 hours on it, share it, then ill rip you apart.

this is ludicrous...read the text in the first few posts instead of scrolling through the photos and jumping to conclusions. The first post even outlines the changes I made and the time it took for me to photoshop. Explain to me how this is misleading?

These guys love your 3IS rendering!
Sorry, ThermonMer, just kidding. (a little Photoshop humor -- the above "picture" of Szechuan province officials inspecting a new road appeared on a Chinese government website and generated lots of Internet buzz and even some mainstream news coverage last week)
So do we: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/photoshop-forum-112/
It isn't. Usually those magazine renderings get pretty harshly criticized on the forums too.

it appears that some members didnt understand the title of the thread, didnt read the explanations, and in the end felt cheated. oh well.

yup correct.
many car forums have their own photoshop section...im surprised at some of the responses here. do any of you have appreciation for any form of art or design in the slightest?
theres gobs of time and speculation spent on forums based on third party artist renderings in magazines...why is this any different?
