Here is the link to buy the MPH and RPM needles. We can send them in any color you want.

http://www.taninautoelectronix.com/2...lt_needles.htm

Be aware that the temp and fuel color will never match the mph and rpm color. The shade will always be off, it's even this way from the factory (different shades of white) because they are illuminated with different methods.

Glad you mentioned this actually. I always wondered why the mph/rpm didn't match the temp/fuel. I just figured someone else had it repaired at some point, guess not though.

tanin auto I was recently looking to do this to my car but seen option 4. I live in the San Diego area looking to upgrade all 4 needles possibly other leds as well.

are the RPM and Speedometer needles interchangeable? 2008 IS250.
will the cluster function if the RPM needle is removed while it's being repaired?

They are the same. The car will function fine without the entire cluster installed. It will function fine with components removed.

I just got my LEDs replaced "good enough to see" at a small computer repair shop in Philadelphia, PA (Mega CompuTech) that was willing to take on the task. All this shop did was resolder replacement LEDs for me, and I took apart the instrument gauge cluster and pulled out the needles. I first attempted to solder the LEDs myself and gave up after many hours of research and a few hours of soldering failure. My IS250 is 13 years old and not worth much, and although TaninAuto's work looks excellent and their dash disassembly instruction was great, I decided to attempt to get the needle's LEDs fixed at a small shop for cheap before committing to buying replacement needles from TaninAuto. I'm sharing because the tech/owner Manuel was nice enough to give it a shot, and since he's in Philly on the East Coast, it might be beneficial for some of us. I wrote a good review on Google since I was pretty happy with the repair. Call a nearby computer shop that can do soldering, show them some pics to see if they're willing to try, then good luck! YMMV.

Get what you pay for I guess. "Good enough to see" isn't a very high bar.
