Default Question About Seibon Trunk...

Totally just realized this... what do I do about the back up camera???

Im getting this trunk in a couple days:

http://www.seiboncarbon.com/products...ds/TL0607LXIS/

And the emblems are easy to remove, trunk is easy to install... but I'm pretty sure there's no slot for the back up camera. Has anyone put the camera in the CF trunk before?

Thanks!

*Please don't hate on the CF, if you don't like it I don't care. You're opinion is useless

You can cut a hole for the reverse camera. I just didn't want to go through the hassle so I sold mine a while back haha. Call tommy; I'm sure he can help you out

Should be easy to drill, but if you're not comfortable I'd call a professional. You don't want to mess up your new trunk because you were too cheap to pay someone to do it right.

I have the Seibon trunk and I cut a square to put the backup camera. Works perfectly, and no one can see that the square isn't the prettiest.

There are a couple pictures of my trunk floating around Club Lexus somewhere.

When in doubt, trust in Rashoodz.

A Dremel would probably be easiest. Tape the outline of what you need cut, and personally I'd use a Tungsten Carbine cutter attachment, and go to town. Since that area is really not easily seen, the cuts won't have to be perfect...but the lines of the tape should help generally guide you.

GL!

Take your time to get the fitment right. It takes a lot of small adjustments to get it looking proper.
