Shifting 1st to 2nd question
I just bought a IS250 the other day and something feels really weird. When shifting from 1st to 2nd, it feels a little different compared to shifting into the other gears. The shifter doesn't shift as smooth as the other gears and feels as if something is "grinding" on the shifter. I only feel it on the 1st -> 2nd shift.
Is it because its a new clutch or is it something I should have the dealer check out? BTW, my first manual, but I've gotten the hang of it pretty well.

Is it used?
1st to 2nd on most cars usually feel a little notchy. Try flushing out the tranny fluid. On all the car's I've ran, I never had a problem running Amsoil tranny fluid.
I'm not sure if anyone on here has tried it on their 6speed manual

feeling like something is "grinding" is always a bad sign in a manual. is there a grinding sound as well? even something as short as a half a second grind could mean your syncros are out of sync.
