Hello fellow Lexus owners. Technically i'm not one yet. I pick up my brand new 2011 IS-250 on Friday though. It's my first Lexus and i'm really pumped. It's a major step up from what i've been driving for the last 10 years. Anyway...just wanted to say hello.
Hey and welcome! What have you been driving before this? Just curious about your car background. I think you'll like the car. What color did you get? Post pictures when you pick it up!

I had been driving a 2001 Saturn SC1 3 Door Coupe. I bought it brand new back in May 2001. It was actually the first new car my wife and I bought after we got married. It was a good little car. It looked sporty, it got great gas mileage, and it still runs great actually. But as I hit 10 years with it and it's about to hit 100,000 miles I figured now is the time to upgrade. So upgrade I did. Plus we have 2 kids now and it's not the best car for a family to drive around in. So hopefully some young high schooler or college kid can get another 100,000 miles out of it. It really was a good little car.

That is the first mandatory change. The 14mm rear bar is too wimpy. You can do it yourself.
