Default Under Passenger Seat Wet?

This am my car smelt weird and underneath my passenger seat was soaking wet. I know nothing was spilled. Im assuming it may have something to do with the heating/cooling feature. But i never use that side. Anyone ever have this problem or had it happen. This is the first time. Thanks

i dont think it would be the cooling system for the seats. I was under the impression that the cooling system is just fans that push air up through the seat.

The car doesn't have air conditioned seats, just vented ones. (i.e., a fan blows air through the perforations)

My guess would be that the condensate drain for your air conditioner is clogged. In this case, the water would be coming from A/C evaporator (located behind the glovebox), but could be running down under the seat.

Are your fender well liners fully intact? If so, it's probably the A/C issue. I even think the previous owner of my 350 had this issue. All fixed though under the factory warranty.

I hope u get this issue resolved, if there is a TSB then i hope they hook u up.

If the dealership won't do it for free, call Lexus corporate and explain that your tired of these kinda issues coming up with a Lexus. If you've done all the scheduled maintenance bring it up...tell em you do all the maintenance yet the car is having other issues. Corporate will usually help you out
