Doubt it as the bearing failure is more of a "Whooshing sound". If you only get the noice after the car has been siting a while and you move it it's probably the brake pads shifting around.

Lexus unfortunately sourced some very problematic water pumps. Anyone know what the manufacturer is of the OEM water pump that came on the car from the factory?

Two Weeks ago I heard a bubbling behind the dash, it was air in the heater core...
I drove to lexus and they changed the water pump the next day and gave me a loaner for free under the power train warranty. Mine is a 2007 with 49,xxx miles on it.

The total bill was $540 odd dollars. they did the pump, the upper and lower hose, and the fluid change.
