Default big 3 upgrade

I am looking to do the big 3 upgrade to my 09 is 250 but can't seem to find the alternator lead to the positive battery terminal. Has anyone done this to their car and can point me in the right direction?

I just had it done, but my alarm shop did it for me. Good luck.

Definition: the "Big Three" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis. Some people replace the factory wiring; others add additional cables to the factory wiring.

It's for better audio.

Is it a noticable difference in sound? Will it improve the factory system or is it only for upgraded audio systems?

It's meant for upgraded audio systems since they generally put a heavier load on the battery because of the power requirement

it isn't noticeable difference in factory system sound. It will let you use more constant power for upgraded audio systems that requires much power of the alternator.
