I have found that my a/c doesn't always kick on. Sometimes i can start up my car and the a/c comes on no problems. but every once in a while it will have the a/c light on and blow hot air. if i stop and let the car idle i hear the fan kick on and kick right back off, followed by a drop in rpms .

With the car in drive and the idle issue happening the car does a little nudge forward. here is south Florida the air condition has to work all the time.

any ideas in reference to what i can do or should i change out the entire a/c components. mainly the compressor.

sometimes my passenger a/c blows out hot air..

bump... i got the system pressure tested and the pressure is fine.... but the a/c still doesnt start on the first kick on days hotter than 90 degrees.... any recommendations?
