x2! adding dynamat will add more weight to your car!! I used dynamat before all over the trunk and doors panels with 3 layers each. If you don't care compromision speed/power I recommend 1 layer in door panels and 2 in the trunk, adding more layer you would not see the difference.

I deadened from my rear seat all the way back to the entire trunk. I used about 100 sq ft but in some area's I stacked it so it was 2 or 3 layers in the trouble areas. It helps significantly. Well worth it imo

Although road noise isnt a problem for me, it does become noticeable on the freeway at high speeds. While I'm at it, i guess I can use the extra to do the floors.
What materials did you use? =)

U can use dynamat in the floor and footwell. I am not sure how much I have used, but it is easy to do
just pull the door sills up and then slide your hand under the carpet and place your dynamat
You can use other materials like foam to improve the deadening.

I completed my entire trunk on sunday with rattle trap fat mat. Its pretty thick and attaches well to the metal frames. I also did the driver side front door. After removing the panel, I did the tapping test and the outer frame sound very thin. I decided to add a layer of fat mat to the outer frame and used the dynamat door kit on the inner frame. The result was great. The door sound very solid when i performed the tap test. The difference compared to the other doors was night and day. With the music on, with certain songs the rattle can only be heard from the passenger side. I will finish all 4 doors today and use the remainder on the floor and footwell and rear seat. Will update with the results and all the materials and price i've used once i'm finished for anyone who is interested in the project. So far i think its worth it.

This is how we do it in most cars, adds some extra weight but you can hear the blue tooth on your phone perfect

Dynamat has some weight to it so I would recommend starting with the trunk first IMO. How loud you turn your system up?. Crank it up at about half volume and then work you wax up to max. That what I did to check rattling areas. You may not have to use all of the dynamat just because you have it, cause it is a pain to remove if you change you mind.

FYI, Fat mat rattle trap that i bought on ebay has a faint odor initially but goes away after installation. It was noticeable the first day but after 2 days it was completely gone. I'll update if the odor returns after a very hot day.
