been searching like crazy, and have yet to come across it.

i am thinking about removing the middle piece and adding mesh. not sure how it will come out WITHOUT an aftermarket insert piece.

here is a pic of my grille

perhaps i could purchase some type of plastic trim from home depot, and use a heat gun to make my own insert trim. then wrap it in the same white vinyl as the chrome bezel. then mesh it.

i really want to go 100% custom here, have some fun, and make it so the grille could be returned to stock at some point.

if no insert were to be use, this would be the amount of space that would need mesh. maybe not the best idea?

What if you bought a Blitz replica for the 06'-08' off eBay and try and custom fit it?

thanks, but no worries.

cars a lease. im not interested in buying aftermarket parts. custom jobs that are reversible only. want to have some fun here, or just leave my stock setup.

maybe i could make my own inner grille. like a 2" wide strip of of 1/8" acrylic. make a 2-piece extrusion around the inside border of the grille bezel. shave off some areas to get the right "tilt". then wrap it up with white vinyl to clean up the rough cuts, and add mesh. it would basically be a custom job to make my own blitz insert.

They're cheap on Ebay. This one actually matches the lower grille:
