Default Help!!! I cannot get the Nav disk changed.

I pushed 2 pins in the hole accordingly but feel nothing. I found this thread but it does not help. When I push in, how hard do I push and should I be pushing towards the inside or outside. Help please.

You push and then pull it back out, dragging the panel with it.

Push the pins in as far as they go, slightly angled to the outside of the car, then move them parallel to each other while simultaneously pulling the panel back towards you. It will come out with ease. Once you see how the spring clips work to hold it it you'll understand how it all works. Just pushing the pins in does NOT release anything, the release is done as you move the pins together.

You do have to push them in pretty hard (straight in, maybe slightly towards the outside.) You need to bury the tools all the way to the handle basically. Once you do, it pulls out fairly easily.

My two tools were in the center sleave inside the toolkit that comes with the car (spare tire kit...) They're kind of hidden. I didn't notice them until somebody else pointed it out in one of the forums.

Awesome. Took me less than 5 mins.

Yes, you have to push in and it did help to push towards outward. You can push in each sharp screwdriver individually. When you push in, that goes all the way in. Then do the other side, push all the way in. Then push both inwards and pull the whole peice out.

Eject the DVD. Put the new DVD in (it just slots in). When the new DVD goes in, it starts to download the new DVD and you are done.

No more warning and having to push "I Agree"...... Yay!

Also no Nav override though. Well, mine's an '06 so I still have the override. In no hurry to upgrade...
