Hey guys, I have a 06 IS350. Love the car, but recently I noticed there is a space between the steering column and the dash, im not sure if I hit it with my knee, or maybe I ran over something?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and potential remedies! Cheers

 

The space is much more pronounced (uneven) in person

 

that's normal. it's to accomodate the tilting/telescoping steering column.

 

I know looking at the pic it kind of looks normal. The left side is about 3/4 inch gap whereas the right is less than 1/4, its crooked

 

Looks like the column cover plastic isn't on quite right anymore. Might need to take it off and see if something is broken on it, or if it can just be reinstalled straight.

Probably hit it with your knee or something.
