I just recevied my spoiler the OEM one from Sewell and the color seems a few shades darker then my Tungsten Pearl paint I know its a different angle and it may be the shade but it still is def darker. I was wondering if anyone had this same issue when they ordered it before I go and install it and cant return it then and if so was the outcome good?

What year is your car? It could be that your paint has faded; thus why the spoiler is a little darker than your car.

I was thinking that too its a 07'.. I did just have it detailed too maybe I should wax the spoiler? Also it will be sunny tommorow so maybe that will help a bit

Four years ago (03/07) I ordered a Lexon spoiler from Carson and had them paint it before shipment and the color match was good for my 2006 (production date 02/06). Once the spoiler is mounted the color discrepancy won't be that apparent because you won't be looking directly at it but always at an extreme angle. Mount it with just a couple of pieces of tape and see if the difference is that apparent.

The spoiler i got from Sewell is a little off to, but its just because the clear coat on my car is now 4 years old (its an 07) so the spoiler seems whiter than the rest of the car. I really cant tell most of the time though, but at a certain angle and with just the right amount of light, its apparent sometimes.

My TP trunk spoiler is darker than my car. Doesn't bother me much since you can't tell unless you are really looking for it

Well I guess after a month or so I will get over the fact its slighty different, just wanted some opinions before I cut off the bolts... (Althou a funny thing is I just had the rear bumper completely repainted by a body shop and they matched the rest of the car perfectly) Worst case is since I'm only 3Ming it on I can remove it til I can afford a for that same place to repaint it maybe

sewell sells roof spoilers?
