can't use Lexus Visa reward points on online orders?

Default can't use Lexus Visa reward points on online orders?

i was trying to order the f-sport exhaust from Sewell, on their homepage it states clearly the steps to take at the checkout point when using the lexus visa reward points, i have $150 accumulated. i followed the instructions and the order was declined. called Lexus Visa they told me the reward dollars can only be used at local Lexus dealers, not online. i think it's bullcrap. i think the reason it got rejected was the accumulated reward dollar amount is less than the order cost, therefore it didn't know where to charge the remaining balance, since the instructions provided by Sewell says to input the reward card number in the back of the card instead of the actual credit card number. can anyone verify this?

I just used some points Tuesday on a order from Sewell.
My order was under the amount of points I had.
I think if you try and buy something that's more than the amount of points you have,it could be a problem.You have to call them.I've done that too in the past.
For those who don't know,you have to use the 16 numbers that are on the lower left on back of the card.

I can absolutely 100% verify that you cannot buy a product from Sewell unless you have the full amount available on your Pursuits Visa. Spoke with someone at Sewell.

You still can buy anything even you dont have enough reward point. Just call them up someone can help you split the payment method.

Been denied a handful of times by Sewell. Will not work, which I think is incredibly stupid. It's a simple transaction.

i called swell yesterday and this morning, the person picked up the phone transferred me to Darrel, but Darrel didn't pick it up and the call got cut off when transferred to his voice mailbox. i've sent him a couple of emails since yesterday, but no responds yet. if he doesn't reply to me by the end of the day, i guess i will just save my money...
