dude dont worry about getting the lug nut damaged. Just make sure there is enough clearance so it doesn't touch the rim. About welding, it might work it might not. Your best bet might be trying what that guy did in the vid or getting another key

How about find a CL member close by that also has fsport lugs. That way you can borrow the key to get it off for now.

Each key is different. And there is absolutely NO clearance, only enough to put a paper that is folded a couple of times. I didn't think so either till I saw it myself.

Seriously the dealer has the master key. Don't risk damage to the wheels, just adjust the coil height.

You car is fine to drive on. Take it to the Lexus dealer and question the quality of their FSport products.

I would try that way or maybe go to a tire shop and have them drill off the lock.

If you are in a desperate bind, do what other posted. Use the wheel thieves' method...

hammer in a small socket and unbolt the damn thing. That's what wheel shops do when you lose the key to your wheel lock. That's how thieves end up getting away with your wheels when you have wheel locks on.

Then bring it to the dealer and ask them for warranty on the damn thing because it broke and you were forced to replace your flat tire.

Car is beautiful, and the broken lug lock situation sucks, but I still can't get over how much room you have in your garage! I would kill to have that much space!!!!!!

If your not comfortable using the hammer method with the smaller socket, the dealer CAN get it off for you. They almost always have a master key to remove them. Just tell them you need it off now and that you'll order a new key after. There's no point in welding the old key, might as well get a new one, if its already broke off it will eventually break again.

I don't know if the Fsport keys are the same but I just had to pick up a wheel lock key for my IS350 from the dealer today and it was under $20 after tax. Just bring your broken one to the parts counter and they can match the pattern.

I don't know if it's too late for this weekend because not sure if dealer service is open on Sundays...maybe try calling the Lexus roadside and see if they can help??

those fsport lug locks look just like mcgard locks. I snapped those off removing my wheel too... Took it to my mechanic and he shoved a smaller socket on there and took it off in like 3 min
