TO say a car looks "gangster" makes you look racist or ignorant to me. Im sorry but my cars do not look gangster and are not on 22's lifted up 2" over stock. Please make a better judgement call before you judge how people mod their cars.
That's not zmcgovern4's car... The car he's referring to belongs to user; dubsesd He stated that is what an example looks like.

There's more in that car than you think as well, I know the owner and saw it build in stages.

Subtle [the car above]; F-sport squiggly grill insert, 2012 tails [car was an 09], BC coils, Magnaflow exhaust tips, Hyundai Genesis wheels with proper fitted OEM Lexus caps [he had three versions before he was satisfied]

You fell for it yourself. You had no idea whats on the car, where the few of us that appreciate this style most do know.
well like stated above im not knocking his car whomever he is, it is nice and simple. if thats what you are into, cool. but essentially the car is still stock oem with another cars stock wheels. granted not from lexus so i will count as aftermarket. i could see off top all the OEM mods thats why i didnt list those.

but as far as the 13" wide wheels and pulled fenders, i havent seen an IS with a 13" and not many cars at that. pulled fenders is to the degree of the owner. my fenders are pulled but im almost 100% positive you cant tell even in person. but basically by your logic just lowered with wheels(like i said earlier) is people call "classy" and stanced cars are "gangster"? i know most would still say my car is clean and still classy even aggressive and low because i kept taste in mind. but to bascially say thats not "clean or classy" is a matter of perspective and sounds ignorant

Are "Gangster" cars with 13" wide wheels and Pulled Fenders??? LOL no my friend, those are simple, clean, classy and well built cars. Done right with all legit parts, decent wheel fitment and still a functional height. Not to mention parts that aren't oem or like oem or from a different oem car brand. Its not much better than seeing 7 series bmw wheels on Lexus/Nissan etc...

Although I will agree the example is a nice, clean and simple car.

So not sure what the main focus here is or what the argument is either, whats the definition of clean and classy cause in my opinion if your car is tastefully modified whether is with aggressive wheels or conservative wheels if you pull it off nicely then Your car looks clean and classy. I personally love the way jdmsw20s IS turned out and if it was me on the road I'd be saying "damn that thing is clean" but a lot of the cars here are more simple looking But still nice but yes as some said they do aim more towards a OEM look

exactly. I did not even realized this thread was bumped from years ago. In the last few years half of the cars that started in this thread have moved onto bigger and better things.

Yup - it is all subjective. Yup - many people consider those cars clean and classy. Yup - many people consider subtle mods to still be "stock". In the end, the op created this thread seeking example cars that fit a specific look... A lot of cars posted simply do not meet the style the op asked to see. There are other threads that already exist where these more heavily modded vehicles would be much appreciated.

This discussion has already been beaten to death in previous posts in this thread... It's not worth any further explanation.

Can we just let this thread die and bury it in the depths of ClubLexus?

Yup basically. Doesn't really matter what the OP wanted to see years ago.

Lol it doesn't require anymore explanation but you're the one who jumped out there like captain America defending his car and calling people a hater. You might want to take your own advice and let it die before you say others should.

Yes exactly what Bob and Lance said, let this thread die again since most of the cars that were posted have moved on to even more aggressive setups since

My contribution with the new HC Motion tail lights. Love these new tail lights. Will upgrade to their new headlights when they release next year.
