Default Bent Rim - No Vibration

So I went in to get a new set of Hankook V12 tires put on at Discount Tires.
I was asked by the technician so he can should me that my front right rim is bent. When mounted on the machine and testing at 40mph you can see it wobble. I told him I never have a problem with vibration when driving. He told me the others tested smoothly except of this one. They agree to swap in the new rim for free if i decided to purchase a new one. During the drive home no vibration what so ever. After having it shown to me I do agree that the rim is bent and wobbles at least on the machine. Should I get a new G-Spider rim from Sewell or just ignore it since I'm not getting any vibrations?

i have a tiny bend on my inner barrel and they just compromised with a bit more stick on weight so it balances on the machine. No vibration

It doesn't appear to be really bad but just knowing that I have a bent rim
I might eventually cough the $250 for a new rim but have anyone experienced with this and does it result in uneven thread wear?

Ask them how much extra weight (oz) they added to balance the wheel. If more than 6oz, then you might want to consider getting a new wheel. However, if you're not getting any vibration and the wheel isn't losing air prematurely, then I think you're fine.

Yeah get it repaired by a local wheel repair shop. Shouldn't cost too much. Just make sure you find a shop that guarantee's their work too!

just out of curiosity, why 6 oz? Is after that much weight the tire really weighs that much more than normal?
