I agree F-sport owners. Crispy your car might not be a good reference, you have very low mileage.

True, however reading through the posts, it seemed that they were starting to see signs of this at around 5-7k miles, and mine is a 2011 as well. Also, I wanted to point out that although my leather is wearing (quickly it seems to me), the stitching is holding up.

I would be curious to hear from higher mileage 2011 non F-Sport owners as well....

I have the F-Sport package and I actually started to see fuzz on my stitching at after 1000 miles. If it was there before that, I didn't notice. I only decided to check because I saw the first topic about the F-Sport stitching problem.

Are the threads used in the stitching for F-Sport and none F-Sport cars the same? Could it be one of them is more durable then the other? Or do they have the identical stitching pattern/technique? The thread on my seats seem a bit thin to me compared to the stitching of other cars.

I have about 7k on my f sport and the stitching is not showing any wear yet. The wear that you guys have referenced and shown doesnt seem normal to me.

How thick is the stitching? I know they use pretty thick stitching for theses seats so at a minimum they will have some sort of wear (whether it be "fuzzing/feathering") but I would think it should eventually go away after some wear

just an update ... I have 18k miles on the car now and the "repaired" stitching is not feathering at all, seems to be holding up ... *fingers crossed*
