Default Speedometer signal comes from .....?

Greetings,

Just need verification as to which wheel Lexus calculates its speedometer readings from (front or rear).
All my past cars drew from the rear (transmission or otherwise), but I stumbled across a post saying Lex chose the front?

Can I get a few folks to verify this for me?

Thanks
Vince

The 2IS uses the ABS wheel speed sensors to calculate vehicle speed. Speed is output by the ABS computer to things like the gauge cluster, etc.

I'm not 100% sure which sensors it calculates from (averages L+R, etc.), but I know when I'm spinning my tires the speed goes up, so it can't be front-wheel based (not solely anyways).
